Grilled Lamb Salad - Another Summer Standard

Sure, I love cooking a wide variety of tasty and healthy recipes, but some of my favorite go-to recipes are my simple curry recipes. Even before I started cooking for myself I would grind up spices in a coffee mill to make my own curry powder. In my spice cabinet, it always seems like I'm running out of turmeric. What can I say? My love affair with curry recipes is too deep.

The best curry can be a lovely meal. A curry is ideal for dinner or lunch. I have eaten many curries in my life. Unfortunately I have eaten a lot of horrible curries that have been made by people who should know better! A good curry doesn't need to be expensive. A good curry consists of fresh recipes, herbs, and spices. The best thing of all is that you will be eating a homemade curry that is easy to make and is filled with healthy herbs and spices.

Finally, the town of Banff. It's nestled in the mountains and exudes charm. It is a little touristy, but there is enough shopping and dining to keep the traveler busy for at least a day. We enjoyed our meal at St. James Gate Irish Pub. Bison Boxty and cooking lamb shanks was tasty and filling. What is boxty? A thick and hearty potato pancake. The pub exudes charm! Our home for tonight is Wit's End, a B & B across the river, but still in town. Our room is very pleasant, comfortable and roomy, with a garden view. Our hosts, Barbara and Vic, are friendly, knowledgeable, and laid back. We recommend it for comfort, hospitality, and information.

Neither Mezze nor diced lamb curry The Fat Lady is a club in the strict sense of the word. Rather they are two of my favorite bars that happen to be located in restaurants, really good restaurants. Both of these bars are places where you can sit and have a great drink, surrounded by other folks doing the same. Or you can sit, have a great drink or a glass of wine, and order dinner from the menu to eat at the bar. Don't you love that?

Use this recipe more as a guide than as a set-in-stone recipe. Cauliflower really works well as a receptacle for the strong spice flavors in this dish, but really a whole host of veggies work be great in this curry recipe. Potatoes? Zucchini? Butternut Squash? Lentils? Peas? All great choices. Also, let these spices serve merely as a guide. I like very spicy, very flavorful dishes, so I tend to go a little overboard when spicing my cauliflower curry. However, if you want to scale back the spice levels this dish will still be tasty.
